Sylvester Stallone is still trying to make a biopic of Edgar Allan Poe:

He revealed: "I keep telling my producer Avi Lerner, 'Make Edgar Allan Poe!' He says, 'Does he have a gun?' 'No, he doesn't have a gun', 'Can he throw a knife?' and I say, 'No, he writes poetry!'

"Of course, I'm not playing Poe. 'Yo, Poe!' It won't work! It'll be some young actor because he dies at 39, but it's gonna happen."

I'd love to see this project go forward.  And I'm still holding out hope for Gary Sinise as Poe, although he may now be too old to play him.  Who would you like to see play Edgar in a movie?
